Enroll/Cost

All registered Domestic Undergraduate Students taking nine (9) or more credit hours (six (6) or more during summer sessions) are eligible to participate in the Plan on a voluntary basis.

All registered Domestic Graduate Students taking six (6) or more credit hours (three (3) or more during summer sessions) are eligible to participate in the Plan on a voluntary basis.

Academic Partnership and Distance Learning Students are not eligible to enroll.

All enrolled International Students in the United States with non-immigrant F-1 and J-1 student visa classifications are required to participate in the mandatory health insurance requirement. International students are automatically enrolled, and the premium will be added to your student account

International students are automatically enrolled in the Lamar Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). The insurance fee will appear on the student's account.
 
Click the button below to Add a Dependent to your Student Health Insurance Plan. The insurance fee for your dependents will appear on the student's account.

After logging into your account, please click on the menu icon in the top left corner of your Dashboard and select Qualifying Event.
